June 2019 Staging Tip of the Month

This month, Simply Staged celebrates it’s 15 year anniversary!!!  Since June 2004, we’ve consulted and/or staged over 3,300 homes.  Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for trusting us with your business!

When staging your home, it’s important for furniture to be proportionally scaled to the room. Remove extra pieces of furniture and replace oversized pieces with smaller scale furniture. Before & Afters 51 Before & Afters 70

May 2019 Staging Tip of the Month

It is important to hide kids toys in the main living areas of every home.  In homes that have 3 or more bedrooms which will appeal to families with children, it is okay to set up a play area in the basement and have toys in the children’s bedrooms.

April 2019 Staging Tip of the Month

You’ve heard the saying the kitchens and bathrooms sell homes. They are also the most expensive to update.  If you don’t have a lot of money to do a bathroom update, here are some inexpensive updates.

Removing wallpaper and painting are minimal costs if you do it yourself. In this bathroom, we found the countertop for only $80 and light for only $12 at MN Home Outlet. A simple framed mirror can be as little as $30. Even with the backsplash, faucet and towel hooks, the total can be as low as $300.
