Dan and Sharon Mitchell, owners of Simply Staged, have been married since 1997 and have 2 kids, Isaiah and Siena. They have been running Simply Staged together since they founded it in 2004.
Sharon’s background makes her the stager she is. With an Interior Design degree from the U of MN, 6 years of design experience and 4 years of real estate experience, she understands both design elements and needs of buyers. She also became an Accredited Staging Professional and founded the local chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.
Dan’s business and customer service skills are a key component in keeping their business successful. He has amazing communication skills to keep their clients informed every step of the staging process. Dan also has 5 years of real estate experience so he has a comprehensive understanding of the selling process and what buyers are looking for in their new homes.
Dan and Sharon love hanging out with their family, anytime, anywhere. Dan is an amazing cook, so they spend much of their time with friends and family and good food. They also love nature, so you will often find them out for a walk. Both Dan and Sharon have done mission trips to Haiti and now work to help Haitian people start their own small businesses. God and Eagle Brook Church play a major role, providing a foundation and guidance for their entire life.
Melanie Lindahl, Staging Consultant with Simply Staged, is a firm believer in staging homes to gain the most ROI for clients. Her natural eye for design and passion for home interiors help others with their most valuable asset by creating environments that appeal to buyers.
Her background in graphic design and marketing for two decades serve clients successfully by creating balance & function along with strong attention to detail. She completed training through Home Staging Resource and is a certified professional Home Stager and Redesigner. She also serves as a Board member of the Minneapolis Area Chapter of RESA® (Real Estate Staging Association®).
Melanie’s interests consist of spending time with her husband and children, time at the cabin in the outdoors, music and traveling. Her hobbies include taking on home projects such as repainting, redecorating, and repurposing rooms – just for fun!
