Adding a rug, pillows and artwork to a living room can make it feel so much more finished and inviting. These are things you can mostly likely use in your next home as well, so it’s a good investment in selling your home. |

Give every room a function. This room was a street level entry, but the main living space of the home was upstairs. It was difficult to understand how to use the space, so we made it a sitting room with a bar cart in the adjoining space…..a perfect way to welcome guests to the home. |

Paint can change everything! It’s hard to tell this is even the same room. The homeowners painted both the walls and fireplace for this stunning difference. Light colored staging furniture helped make the room feel bright and spacious, too. |

If you know that you’ll be renting furniture to stage your home, you can certainly reuse some of your own pieces to keep the cost down. When we do a bid for you, we can let you know what pieces will work with the staging furniture. In these examples, the homeowner’s pieces fit right into the staging. |

So many of us make new year’s resolutions to exercise more and that some times means we end up with a treadmill or Pelaton in the living room. That’s great for keeping you on track, but for selling, it’s better to move the equipment to a dedicated exercise room or corner of the lower level family room. In this room, we added a rug from their basement and then brought in a chair for staging. |

As the winter sun gets weaker, it’s common for people to put all their plants in the window with the most light. For staging, it’s important to spread those plants out around the home. A little bit of green in every room brings life to your whole house. And if those plants can’t live away from that sunny window, just keep them staged for the photos and first few days of showings. In this example, we moved the homeowners plants to each room of the home and add a bit of staging furniture to make this first-impression room shine. |
