November 2011 Staging Tip

Laminate kitchen cabinets with wood trim can feel very dated.  You don’t need to replace all the cabinets to have a nice looking kitchen.  Simply painting the wood portions of the cabinets and adding pulls can have a great impact! Brown Kitchen After

We just finished this complete kitchen makeover with a warm wall color, wood floors instead of carpet, granite countertops that extend over a new breakfast bar, and a gorgeous tile backsplash.  See our December blog for more before and after shots of the entire home.

May 2011 Featured Before and After

This kitchen struggled with old cabinets, minimal counterspace, an old stove and very dated flooring.  We painted the walls and cabinets very modern shades of gray, which we tied together with a glass tile backsplash.  The flooring was replaced with environmentally friendly marmoleum and black granite countertops that we extended into unused space that now hosts 2 barstools.

April 2011 Featured Before and After

Outdated kitchens are hard for buyers to see past when looking for their new home.  At this house, we removed the wallpaper and painted the walls a soft yellow color that worked with the original 1920’s backsplash.  We also updated the cabinetry by painting it white and replacing the pulls.  A little decluttering finished up this kitchen.
