The goal of staging is to sell your house quickly and get you the most equity possible. So we try to recommend low cost updates that will make the biggest visual impact.  While replacing all the outdated furniture in a room might be ideal, sometimes just replacing a few key pieces will help tremendously.  In the first photo below, we just replaced the floral pieces and added a few accessories.  In the second photo, we just replaced the dining chairs.
